We require on-going training for our staff through state classes, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. All of our teachers hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and are trained in First Aid and CPR.

What age groups do you serve at Talk Childcare 2 Me?
We care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age, offering programs designed to meet their developmental needs in a nurturing environment.
What are your operating hours?
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering flexible options to meet the needs of working families.
What curriculum do you use?
We follow the FunShine Express curriculum, which aligns with early learning standards and provides a fun, engaging environment that supports children’s development in areas such as literacy, math, and social-emotional learning.
What qualifications and training do your staff have?
All staff members complete childcare orientation covering essential topics such as handwashing, diaper changing, basic first aid, pediatric abusive head trauma, and child abuse reporting procedures. We also conduct regular emergency drills, including active shooter drills and shelter-in-place procedures. Every staff member is CPR and First Aid certified, and all have at least a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher. If not, they are enrolled in a certification program within 90 days of hire.
How do I enroll my child?
You’re in the right place! Connect with our enrollment specialist through the website to receive enrollment information. Be prepared to pay a $50 registration fee per family, a deposit plus the first week's tuition (if family-funded) or, a DCBS CCAP contract before the child's start date. We also require up-to-date shot records for all children or a religious exemption form with a state seal. It can be faxed to 502-427-0881. Keep in mind we participate in the CACFP program. If you have a child with dietary restrictions, paperwork is required before enrollment.
